Conway barely beat Lugoff-Elgin the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Tigers never let the Demons get on the board and left with a 6-0 win on Monday. The Tigers not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since April 5th (when they won 9-1).
The team relied heavily on Hunter Dawes, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run and one RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March.
Conway's victory bumped their record up to 14-12. As for Lugoff-Elgin, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-15.
