Emma Years made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and only two hits while striking out 13 over five innings pitched. Years has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't pitched less than five innings every time she's pitched this season. Years was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 2-for-2.
In other batting news, Caledonia-Mumford got a massive performance out of Kylie Padlick -Field, who scored four runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all two of her plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Kaelyn Jake, who scored two runs while going 3-for-4.
Caledonia-Mumford pushed their record up to 7-1 with that victory, which was their third straight at home.
