Basketball Recap: Credo Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Credo lost against Healdsburg back in December of 2021 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Gryphon were dealt a 72-32 defeat at the hands of the Greyhounds. The Gryphon were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 38-14.

Loss or not, Credo got some senior leadership from Rune Busenitz and Aidan Fusco. Busenitz posted 16 points, while Fusco scored 13 points.

Healdsburg found their leader in sophomore Teague Jasper, who went 9-for-13 en route to 22 points. Vincenzo Loupy was another key player, putting up eight points along with seven rebounds and four steals.

Credo's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Healdsburg, their record is now 2-0.

Credo will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Piner at 8:00 p.m. on December 2. As for Healdsburg, they are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will face off against Cardinal Newman at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
