After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Fort Madison, Mt. Pleasant was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They never let the Notre Dame Nikes get on the board and left with a 4-0 victory. Considering Mt. Pleasant have won four contests by more than three goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Mt. Pleasant has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-3-1 record this season. As for Notre Dame, they dropped their record down to 3-7 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.

Mt. Pleasant wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 4-0 win against West Burlington on the 15th. As for Notre Dame, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 12-0 defeat against Davenport Central on the 16th.
