Waverly entered their tilt with Jackson on Monday with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. They put the hurt on the Jackson Vikings with a sharp 74-48 win. The Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 26 points or more this season.

Despite the defeat, Jackson saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Berkley Drummond posted 17 points. Another player making a difference was Lorenzo Rogers, who put up seven points.

Waverly has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-2 record this season. As for Jackson, they now have a losing record at 6-7.

Waverly is taking a road trip to face off against Everett at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The timing isn't great for Everett: they have been struggling with four straight losses at home, while Waverly has snatched up four consecutive wins on the road. Jackson has already played their next match (against Chelsea), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
