Volleyball Recap: Six Straight Home Victories for Woodson

There's no place like home for Woodson, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Loraine Bulldogs on Thursday.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Woodson was: they took both sets by at least 16 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-9.

Woodson's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-3. As for Loraine, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Woodson wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Merkel on the 28th. As for Loraine, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Colorado at 5:30 p.m. on September 23.
