Soccer Recap: Manchester Takes a Loss

Manchester was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 5-1 to the Monacan Chiefs. The contest was a close 2-1 at the break, but unfortunately for Manchester it sure didn't stay that way.

Their goal came courtesy of Jonah Baldwin, which was the first he's scored this season.

Manchester now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Monacan, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Manchester will challenge rival Cosby at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Monacan is set to square off against their familiar foe L.C. Bird at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
