Basketball Game Preview: Upper Dauphin Area Trojans vs. Millersburg Indians

Upper Dauphin Area is 2-8 against Millersburg since January of 2022 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Upper Dauphin Area Trojans will challenge the Millersburg Indians at 7:30 p.m. Upper Dauphin Area will be strutting in after a win while Millersburg will be coming in after a defeat.

Upper Dauphin Area is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They walked away with a 63-50 victory over East Juniata on Monday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Trojans as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, Millersburg's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They took a 57-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of Pequea Valley.

Upper Dauphin Area will have to contain Chase Romberger as he made an impact in Millersburg's last game. He went 7 for 10 en route to 14 points along with five boards and three blocks. Another player making a difference was Nolan Schreffler, who posted 12 points in addition to six rebounds and five assists.

Upper Dauphin Area's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-13. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.0 points per game. As for Millersburg, their loss dropped their record down to 8-6.
