New Canaan and Darien are an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2015, but likely not for long. The Rams will be playing at home against the Blue Wave at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

New Canaan is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 14 runs on Wednesday, they were much more limited against Stamford on Friday. They fell just short of the Black Knights by a score of 2-1.

New Canaan saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Adrian Delicata, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Darien unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of Greenwich by a score of 6-5.

New Canaan's loss dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Darien, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-6-1.

New Canaan skirted past Darien 3-2 in their previous matchup back in May of 2024. Will the Rams repeat their success, or do the Blue Wave have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
