Basketball Recap: Cristo Rey Jesuit Takes a Loss

Cristo Rey Jesuit was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were beaten by the Holy Trinity Tigers 64-22. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 60-37 back in December of 2024.

Cristo Rey Jesuit's defeat dropped their record down to 10-16. As for Holy Trinity, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 20-8 record this season.

Looking ahead, Cristo Rey Jesuit will challenge Juarez at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Holy Trinity, they and Rochelle Zell Jewish will face off at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest, having both just played.
