Football Recap: Eastern Eagles vs. Wirt County Tigers
On Friday, everything came up roses for the Eastern Eagles at home against the Wirt County Tigers as the team secured a 47-16 win. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Eagles' disadvantage in MaxPreps' football rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 333rd in Ohio, while the Tigers are ranked 64th in West Virginia).
Eastern found their leader in underclassman Treyvon Rembert, who rushed for 128 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries.
