Volleyball Recap: Pacifica Takes a Loss

Pacifica was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Ventura Cougars, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in August.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-9, 25-17.

Pacifica now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Ventura, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Pacifica is set to challenge their familiar foe Dos Pueblos at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Ventura will face off against rival Santa Barbara at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
