Basketball Recap: Northwest's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Northwest came into Saturday's matchup having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They snuck past the Tuscumbia Lions with a 54-50 win on Saturday.

Northwest's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-7. As for Tuscumbia, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

Northwest will finish 2024 at home by hosting Otterville at 3:00 p.m. on December 28th. As for Tuscumbia, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Conway at 6:00 p.m. on January 2, 2025. Tuscumbia is facing Conway at the right time seeing as Conway is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
