Basketball Recap: Shannon Triumphs

The Shannon Red Raiders didn't have too much breathing room in their game against the Senatobia Warriors on Monday, but they still walked away with a 69-64 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Red Raiders.

Shannon's victory bumped their record up to 7-10. As for Senatobia, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season.

Shannon will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Holly Springs at 10:00 a.m. on January 3, 2026. Senatobia and Cordova will round out the year against one another at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Warriors will be up against the Wolves' rather soft defense (which has allowed 53.23 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
