A Season-Best Effort from Tony Marshall Leads Plant City over Alonso
Tony Marshall produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Plant City to the win on Friday. Marshall rushed for 201 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 11.2 yards per carry. The performance once again pushed his average rushing yardage north of 100 yards per game (106.4). The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in rushing yards.
Plant City's victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-2. Marshall's next matchup is against Newsome on Friday, where he'll look to repeat that solid performance.

He is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in the last three games he's played.
Unfortunately for Alonso, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Denson. Back in September of 2023 (the last time Denson saw the Ravens), he threw for 301 yards and four touchdowns while completing 76.2% of his passes, and also rushed for 105 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries.

Sadly, Joseph Glennon posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Alonso over Plant City on Friday. Glennon rushed for 147 yards and a touchdown on only 13 carries, and also threw for 163 yards and three touchdowns. The effort marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in November of 2023. Alonso is 3-1 when Glennon posts 80 or more rushing yards, but 1-2 otherwise.
Unfortunately for Plant City, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Glennon. Glennon rushed for 185 yards on only 15 carries, and also threw for 157 yards and two touchdowns the last time he and the Raiders duked it out back in September of 2023.
