Softball Recap: Memorial Warriors vs. Emerson Mavericks

After losing to Emerson the last time they met, Memorial decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Warriors walked away with a 5-2 victory over the Mavericks on Friday. The win was nothing new for the Warriors as they're now sitting on four straight.

Megan Wilson spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on four hits and racked up eight Ks. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 13 consecutive appearances.
