Volleyball Recap: Vidalia Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Vidalia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Bryan County Redskins. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Redskins this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in August.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Bryan County scored at least 17 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-18.

Vidalia's offense was headlined by Jada Bates and Au'Rhionna Harris, who picked up two kills apiece. They got some help from Laina Williams and her two assists. Finally, Bates was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high two blocks.

Vidalia's loss dropped their record down to 4-19. As for Bryan County, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 15-13 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Vidalia will host Tattnall County at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bryan County, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Toombs County at 5:00 p.m.
