Basketball Recap: River Hill Takes a Loss

River Hill was the 49-36 winner over Centennial when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The River Hill Hawks took a 50-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Centennial Eagles on Friday.

River Hill's loss dropped their record down to 13-5. As for Centennial, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. River Hill will face off against Long Reach at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. River Hill is facing Long Reach at the right time seeing as Long Reach is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Centennial, it'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Eagles take on the Hawks at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
