Volleyball Recap: West Franklin Falcons vs. Wabaunsee Chargers
West Franklin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wabaunsee Chargers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Chargers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 on Tuesday.
The final score came out to 25-11, 25-14.
Despite the loss, West Franklin saw an underclassman step up: freshman Teegan McArthur had eight assists and four digs.
West Franklin's defeat dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Wabaunsee, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season.
West Franklin didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-2 win against Baldwin on the 2nd. As for Wabaunsee, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against White City on the 4th.
