Pleasanton waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with 12 straight wins... but they left with 13. They had just enough and edged out the San Antonio HomeSchool Wolverines 4-2. This was payback for the Eagles, who suffered a 4-2 loss the last time these two teams met.

Pleasanton's win was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Max Wiggins, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Pleasanton hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as San Antonio HomeSchool struck out 11 times.

Pleasanton's victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-3. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.6 runs over those games. As for San Antonio HomeSchool, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-15-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pleasanton will challenge Devine at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for San Antonio HomeSchool, they will square off against Cornerstone Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Warriors' pitching crew has only allowed 3.3 runs per game this season, so the Wolverines' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
