LEE took a six-run defeat the last time they faced off against Churchill, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Volunteers skirted past the Chargers 5-4. The win was some much needed relief for the Volunteers as it spelled an end to their nine-game losing streak.

LEE saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dylan Garza, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI. That's the most hits Garza has posted since back in March.

LEE's victory bumped their record up to 5-19-1. As for Churchill, they dropped their record down to 11-16 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.

As of now, neither LEE nor the Chargers have any future games scheduled.
