Basketball Game Preview: Kelton Lions vs. Booker Kiowas

Kelton hasn't had much luck against Booker recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Kelton Lions will venture away from home to take on the Booker Kiowas at 7:15 p.m. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Kelton is headed into Friday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fifth straight game on Friday. They took a hard 55-40 fall against Claude.

Meanwhile, after a string of six wins, Booker's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell just short of Miami by a score of 41-39. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Kiowas have suffered since February 6, 2024.

Kelton will have to contain Reydn Rosales as he made an impact in Booker's last game. He went 9 for 15 on his way to 18 points in addition to eight boards and three steals. Rosales is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Julian Barton, who posted ten points along with six rebounds and four steals.

Booker's loss dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Kelton, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-7.

Kelton was dealt a bruising 57-27 loss at the hands of Booker in their previous matchup back in February of 2020. Can Kelton avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
