Basketball Game Preview: Central Bronchos vs. Sterling Tigers

After both having extra time off, the Central Bronchos and the Sterling Tigers will shake off the rust and duke it out at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sterling took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Central, who comes in off a win.

While Bronchos fans will have to keep waiting for their squad to come home, they shouldn't be too worried about the road trip considering the result of Friday's season opener. They strolled past Snyder with points to spare last Friday, taking the game 56-39. Winning may never get old, but the Bronchos sure are getting used to it with their eighth in a row dating back to last season.

Meanwhile, Sterling came up short against Empire last Friday and fell 53-41.

Central couldn't quite get it done against Sterling when the teams last played back in December of 2024 as they fell 62-51. Can the Bronchos avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
