The Cougars were red-hot offensively headed into the matchup (they scored no less than 31 points in the ten matches prior) but the Braves' defense proved too tough.

Preston Baker rushed for 56 yards. Kaden Rakers was his top target, rushing for 74 yards on only ten carries, while also picking up 38 receiving yards.
