Lafayette Christian Academy extends home winning streak to ten

Recap: Lafayette Christian Academy Knights vs. St. Martinville Tigers

The Lafayette Christian Academy Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matches by 21 points or more this season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Wednesday as they easily beat St. Martinville 69-32 at home. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 40-14.

St. Martinville lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Jaylon Jones, who scored six points. Makharee Narcisse was another key contributor, scoring six points.

Lafayette Christian Academy pushed their record up to 16-1 with that victory, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.0 points per game. As for St. Martinville, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-12.

Lafayette Christian Academy will be playing at home against Jennings at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. St. Martinville won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against David Thibodaux at 5:15 p.m. on January 4th. One thing working in David Thibodaux's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last six matches.
