Basketball Recap: Providence Christian Academy Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Ella Truong and Zoie Cameron

Providence Christian Academy came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 62-39 to the Banks County Leopards. The loss continues a trend for the Storm in their matchups with the Leopards: they've now lost five in a row.

Providence Christian Academy's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Zoie Cameron, who went 6 of 15 to rack up 17 points and eight rebounds, and Ella Truong, who went 5 for 12 en route to 16 points. Truong's evening made it eight games in a row in which she has scored at least 16 points.

Even though they lost, Providence Christian Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 12 offensive boards in four consecutive matchups.
