Volleyball Recap: Irvin Comes Up Short

Irvin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Parkland Matadors. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Matadors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 last Thursday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-21, 25-18.

Irvin's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Parkland, the win got them back to even at 7-7.

Looking ahead, Irvin will square off against Harmony School of Innovation at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Parkland, they will take on American Heritage in a tournament on Friday.
