Basketball Game Preview: Greenhills Gryphons vs. Plymouth Christian Academy Eagles

The Greenhills Gryphons will face off against the Plymouth Christian Academy Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Plymouth Christian Academy took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Greenhills, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with four defeats in a row, Greenhills turned things around against Manchester on Monday. They walked away with a 50-40 win over the Flying Dutchmen.

Meanwhile, Plymouth Christian Academy lost 58-38 to Lumen Christi Catholic on Thursday. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 280th, while the Titans are ranked 29th).

Plymouth Christian Academy has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-11 record this season. Greenhills' victory bumped their record up to 8-14.

Greenhills came up short against Plymouth Christian Academy when the teams last played back in February of 2019, falling 41-29. Can Greenhills avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
