Softball Recap: Post Takes a Loss

The Post Antelopes lost 12-6 to the Lubbock Christian Eagles on Monday. The Antelopes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Saniya Sanchez made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Amberly Garza, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one double.

Post's defeat dropped their record down to 13-13. As for Lubbock Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 16 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-2 record this season.

Post will face off against Abernathy at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Post's pitchers better be ready for this one: Abernathy has averaged an impressive 11.5 runs per game this season. Lubbock Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
