Basketball Recap: Yoncalla Drops Season-High Score on Oakridge

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Yoncalla). They walked away with a 68-58 victory over the Oakridge Warriors on Friday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Eagles considering their 30-point performance the match before.

Yoncalla moved to 2-4 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Oakridge, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

Yoncalla won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against McKenzie at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Oakridge, they also won't have to wait long for more action: they'll challenge Glendale at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday.
