Volleyball Recap: Kia Mader and Taylor Kohl Secure Win for Ellis

Ellis posted their closest win since October 10, 2024 on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Hill City Ringnecks. The win continues a trend for the Railroaders in their matchups with the Ringnecks: they've now won nine in a row.

Ellis was led to victory by Taylor Kohl and Kia Mader. Kohl had 17 assists and eight digs, while Mader had nine digs. Those eight digs gave Kohl a new career-high.

The victory got Ellis back to even at 3-3. As for Hill City, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.
