Basketball Game Preview: Palisade Bulldogs vs. Glenwood Springs Demons

The Palisade Bulldogs will face off against the Glenwood Springs Demons at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Palisade is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 56 points on Tuesday, they were much more limited against Fruita Monument on Friday. They took a 44-26 bruising from the Wildcats. The Bulldogs have struggled against the Wildcats recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Glenwood Springs' good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They took a 62-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of Coal Ridge.

Palisade now has a losing record at 7-8. As for Glenwood Springs, their loss dropped their record down to 6-8.

Palisade couldn't quite finish off Glenwood Springs when the teams last played back in February of 2024 and fell 48-46. Can Palisade avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
