Volleyball Recap: Pleasant Home Eagles vs. Opp Bobcats
Pleasant Home was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Opp Bobcats. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 19-25, 25-17, 25-14.
Madie Wilson was nothing short of spectacular for Opp: she had nine aces and five digs. That's the most aces Wilson has posted since back in August. Another player making a difference was Crislyn Birge, who had 13 digs and three aces.
Pleasant Home's defeat dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Opp, they have been performing well recently as they've won 14 of their last 17 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 22-9 record this season.
