Baseball Recap: Stranahan Comes Up Short

Stranahan lost against Boyd Anderson back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Mighty Dragons lost 13-2 to the Cobras. The Mighty Dragons' loss continues a trend for the team, making it nine in a row.

Stranahan saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Randolph Boz, who scored a run while going 1-for-1.

Stranahan's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Boyd Anderson, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-4.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Stranahan will take on Pompano Beach at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Mighty Dragons are facing the Golden Tornadoes at the right time seeing as the Golden Tornadoes are stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Boyd Anderson, they will square off against Plantation at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
