Lake Shore waltzed into their matchup on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They strolled past the Lakeview Huskies with points to spare, taking the game 58-43. Given the Shorians' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 249th, while the Huskies are ranked 508th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Lake Shore's win bumped their record up to 13-10. As for Lakeview, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games. That lines up perfectly with their 6-18 record this season.

Lake Shore will be playing in front of their home fans against Cousino at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Lake Shore's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three contests. Lakeview does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
