Football Recap: Rolling Meadows Drops Highest Score of Season Against Hersey

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Rolling Meadows). They snuck past the Hersey Huskies with a 26-20 victory on Wednesday. For the Mustangs, this counts as revenge for the 26-6 win the Huskies walked away with the last time they faced one another back in August of 2024.

The victory made it two in a row for Rolling Meadows and bumps their season record up to 2-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 27 points in those games. As for Hersey, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Rolling Meadows is set to take on their familiar foe St. Edward at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Hersey will face off against rival New Trier at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
