Baseball Recap: Southwestern Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for Southwestern's offense. They came up short against the Father McGivney Catholic Griffins on Monday, falling 15-0. The Piasa Birds have struggled against the Griffins recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Southwestern's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Father McGivney Catholic, the win (which was their 13th in a row) raised their record to 15-2.

Southwestern has already played their next game, a 5-2 defeat against North Mac on the 15th. As for Father McGivney Catholic, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 15-3 victory against Mt. Vernon on the 16th.
