Soccer Game Preview: Eau Claire vs. Brandywine

The Eau Claire Beavers will venture away from home to take on the Brandywine Bobcats at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Eau Claire's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for nine straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Eau Claire managed to slip by Covert the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Beavers came up short against the Bulldogs on Wednesday, falling 4-1.

Meanwhile, Brandywine can bid farewell to their four-match losing streak thanks to their match on Wednesday. They skirted past Dowagiac 1-0.

Brandywine's win bumped their record up to 3-8-2. As for Eau Claire, their loss dropped their record down to 1-8.

Eau Claire might still be hurting after the 6-0 defeat they got from Brandywine when the teams last played back in September. Can the Beavers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
