Volleyball Recap: Campion Academy Cougars vs. Windsor Charter Academy Firebirds
After flying high against Mile High Academy last Tuesday, Campion Academy came back down to earth. Campion Academy lost 3-0 to the Windsor Charter Academy Firebirds on Monday. The loss put an end to the Cougars' undefeated start to the season.
While Campion Academy was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Windsor Charter Academy's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-17, 26-24.
Windsor Charter Academy was led to victory by Titus Knutson and Aedan James. Knutson had ten digs and two assists, while James had nine digs, five aces, and two blocks. That's the most blocks James has posted since back in April of 2024. Dallas Fields also deserves some recognition as he had his first block of the season.
Having lost for the first time this season, Campion Academy fell to 3-1. As for Windsor Charter Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 3-4.
