Bluefield has gone a perfect 3-0 against Summers County recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Beavers will host the Bobcats at 5:30 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with 12 consecutive losses dating back to last season for Bluefield and seven for Summers County.

Bluefield managed to slip by Graham the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Beavers lost 11-1 to the G-Men on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Summers County came up short against Fairmont Senior on Saturday, falling 23-3.

Summers County saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Grady Allen, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Summers County's defeat dropped their record down to 4-13-1. As for Bluefield, their loss dropped their record down to 0-11.

Bluefield took their win against Summers County in their previous meeting back in April of 2022 by a conclusive 14-0 score. Do the Beavers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bobcats turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
