San Marcos came tearing into Thursday's matchup with nine straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 32.6 points) and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Mission Hills Grizzlies by a score of 62-55. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 63-54 back in January.

Jalen Williams continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 5-for-12 on his way to 16 points and three steals. Another player making a difference was Richie Ramirez, who went 6-for-12 en route to 13 points and six boards.

San Marcos' win was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 25-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 76.2 points over those games. As for Mission Hills, their defeat dropped their record down to 18-10.
