Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sun Valley). They blew past the West Stanly Colts 10-1 on Thursday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Sun Valley's offense was hitting West Stanly from everywhere, as eight different players booted in a goal. Braden Carr led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Sun Valley's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-5-1. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 18 goals over those three contests. As for West Stanly, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-8-1 record this season.

Sun Valley has already played their next game, a 4-2 defeat against Weddington on the 22nd. As for West Stanly, they will host Anson at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. West Stanly will be up against Anson's rather soft defense (which has allowed 6.14 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
