Soccer Recap: Hanks Comes Up Short

Hanks was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. While the 0-0 score might suggest a draw, it was the El Dorado Aztecs who were credited with the victory. The El Dorado Aztecs got it done in the shootout by posting five goals to the Hanks Knights' four. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against El Dorado this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 0-0 back in February.

Hanks' defeat dropped their record down to 11-10. As for El Dorado, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-7-5.

Coming up, Hanks will take on Americas at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for El Dorado, they will head out on the road to face off against Del Valle at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. El Dorado will need to watch out since Del Valle have now posted at least four goals in their last four matchups.
