Volleyball Game Preview: Rocky River Ravens vs. Palisades Pumas + How To Watch

After both having extra time off, the Rocky River Ravens and the Palisades Pumas will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Rocky River is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.

It was a Battle of the Birds when Rocky River challenged East Mecklenburg on Tuesday. The Ravens came up short against the Eagles, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-6, 25-12, 25-7.

Meanwhile, Palisades posted their closest win since August 26th on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Providence, sneaking past 3-2. The victory continues a trend for the Pumas in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won four in a row.

Palisades took Providence into a fifth set where they got it done with a five-point win. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 28-26, 19-25, 20-25, 15-10.

Rocky River's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Palisades, their win bumped their record up to 11-9.

Rocky River might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Palisades in their previous meeting back in September. Can the Ravens avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
