Baseball Recap: St. Mary Catholic Central Takes a Loss

St. Mary Catholic Central was the 7-4 winner over Milan when they last played one another back in April, but their luck changed this time around. The Falcons/Kestrels took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Big Reds on Monday.

St. Mary Catholic Central's loss dropped their record down to 13-4-1. As for Milan, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-14.

The future could be bright for both St. Mary Catholic Central and Milan: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. The Falcons/Kestrels will try to hand Riverview their fourth-straight defeat when the two meet at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Milan will look to extend Jefferson's five-game losing streak when they meet at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
