Soccer Recap: Marianna Comes Up Short

Marianna managed to keep up with Milton until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Marianna Bulldogs lost 3-0 to the Milton Panthers. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2023.

Marianna has traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9-1 record this season. As for Milton, the win got them back to even at 5-5-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Marianna will head out to take on Franklin County at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Milton, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Mosley at 7:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
