Excelsior Springs lost to Richmond back in December of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Excelsior Springs Tigers walked away with a 49-37 victory over the Richmond Spartans. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tigers.

Excelsior Springs' win bumped their record up to 4-7. As for Richmond, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-9 record this season.
