Softball Recap: Breathitt County Bobcats vs. Clay County Tigers

Breathitt County won against Wolfe County last Friday with three runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Friday. The Breathitt County Bobcats had just enough and edged the Clay County Tigers out 3-2. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Breathitt County.

Catlin Pennington spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on one hit and racked up 14 Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts every time she's pitched this season.
