Volleyball Recap: Heritage Christian Takes a Loss

Heritage Christian was the 3-0 winner over Grafton when they last played one another back in October of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Patriots lost 3-0 to the Bearcats on Tuesday.

While Heritage Christian was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Grafton's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-19, 25-20.

Heritage Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Grafton, their victory bumped their record up to 11-5.

Heritage Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Morgantown Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on the 20th. As for Grafton, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Philip Barbour on the 1st.
