Baseball Game Preview: Fossil Ridge Panthers vs. Saginaw Rough Riders

For the second straight game, Fossil Ridge will face off against Saginaw. The Panthers will square off against the Rough Riders at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

On Tuesday, Fossil Ridge beat Saginaw 9-5. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Panthers.

For Saginaw's part, Grayson Chancellor made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one run. That triple was Chancellor's first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Evan Wainwright, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one run.

Fossil Ridge pushed their record up to 8-19-2 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Saginaw, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 20 of their last 21 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-24-1 record this season.
